  1. The term “obesity” is used to describe the health condition of anyone significantly above his or her ideal healthy weight. Is the leading cause of United States mortality. The number of Americans with obesity has steadily increased since 1960, a trend that has slowed in recent years but shows no sign of reversing. Today, 69 percent of U.S. adults are categorized as being affected by obesity or having excess weight. the privileges to be healthy are: Your body more efficiently circulates blood. Your fluid levels are more easily managed. You are less likely to develop diabetes, heart disease, certain cancers and sleep apnea. Being obese can: raise blood cholesterol and triglyceride levels. Lower "good" HDL cholesterol. HDL cholesterol is linked with lower heart disease and stroke risk, so low LDL tends to raise the risk. Increase blood pressure. Induce diabetes. In some people, diabetes makes other risk factors much worse. The danger of heart attack is especially high for these people.
My opinion is that: obesity is a very important topic and if we are not careful, we may have diseases that would affect our lives forever.

Obesity is a very complex problem in the United States. According of Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and the “State of Obesity” Project, adult obesity rates now exceed 35 percent in four states, 30 percent in 25 states and are above 20 percent in all states. The estimated annual medical cost of obesity in the U.S. was $147 billion in 2008 U.S. dollars; the medical costs for people who are obese were $1,429 higher than those of normal weight.

Obesity is not a local problem, because it is present worldwide: one of the most recent and careful global estimates finds that roughly 500 million adults are obese, and in other global estimate, 43 million preschool children were overweight or obese.

Not that long ago, obesity was largely a problem of the rich, primarily in wealthy countries. Globalization, though, has made the world wealthier. And as poor countries move up the income scale, and people shift from subsisting on traditional diets to overeating on Western diets, obesity becomes a disease of the poor. But with the passing time, thanks to globalization; those developing countries that were not previously taken into account in these studies have been "infected" by this "pandemic".

In my opinion, obesity is a worldwide problem: it requires a set of government, private enterprise and society to be controlled: our future and the future of coming generations are in our hands.

I’m agree with her opinion about obesity because both realize that nowadays it’s a bad problem in the society because we don’t worry about our healthy.
Obesity means having too much body fat. The term “obesity” is used to describe the health conditions of anyone significantly above his or her ideal healthy weight.
My opinion about this serious problem is that obesity that occurs in our country and worldwide affects both sexes is necessary to take into account that poor diet, psychological issues, lack of sleep, bad habits and abuse of food , cause this great evil consequently resulting to death.
I think the root cause of overweight is an imbalance between the calories you consume and we spend, but we have no culture of care for and think about what hurts us or that exercise can help us to have control over our weight.
When we are not afraid of change we can change our eating habits and as a result begin to have more balance in our bodies and avoid disease.
I think it is important to note that if from small children are inculcated these tips have a in a future, children, adolescents and adults more committed to health and we can have a better and longer life.
